Hi, I’m Sonika Chowdary Gutha a Google Summer of Code 2026 contributor with CDLI. I will be working on the project Scalable Email Infrastructure
For my GSoC project, I’m building a scalable email infrastructure that transforms email delivery from a blocking operation into a reliable background service. Instead of sending emails directly during user requests, emails are queued and processed asynchronously by workers, improving response times and system reliability.
The project also introduces retry mechanisms, delivery tracking, audit logs, and administrative monitoring tools, making email operations more observable, resilient, and easier to manage at scale.
